Inkstrumental™ is an amazing new music app / game for the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad featuring a host of truly mental characters who make equally mental sounds.

Choose your music and some mental characters to play on that level, then tap the characters to trigger their sounds. As the music loops you can make your own insane tracks, from stripped down beats to all out jazzmentalism, the noises you’ll get out of this app will blow your mind, and possibly your speakers.

The characters were designed by Jon Burgerman and animated by the gurus at UsTwo. Wimbledon Sound then got to work designing all the character noises. These were a selection of musical sounds, percussive effects and, our favourites, the madness of Rolls making the voices. Truly mental!

With beats so fat they’d make your ears cry, and sounds so mental your brain will need a walk in the park and a nice ice cream afterwards, we think this game is the best thing since the invention of said ice cream.
