DustForce

Trailer for the forthcoming Dust Force platform game for XBox, PS3, PS Vita. This was a remix of the original trailer. The original footage had been edited, so it was necessary to reconstruct the trailer by re-cutting the music and then adding appropriate spot fx.

Each character had many sounds associated with them, so armed with the game sound assets we identified each character for each scene, and then added sounds for dashing, sweeping, jumping and attacking and synced them to the action.

One thing we wanted for this trailer was to really keep the rhythm of the music, so the sounds were spotted to fit the timing of the music. This gives a nice flow to the ad, and with a bit of cheeky filtering on the slo-mo section for good measure. We’re really happy with this one.
