studio

The studio is cool, quiet and calm. Set back on an industrial area of South Wimbledon, we enjoy the nearby River Wandle and Merton Abbey Mills craft shops and cafes yet are only a 10 minute walk from South Wimbledon or Collier’s Wood Northern Line tubes, and the Tramlink Tram Stop is just 5 minutes away.

Equipped with a Mac Pro and ProTools Ultimate with an array of high end processing tools we deliver high-end and precise media content with the minimum of fuss.

The studio has a voice booth with microphones from Neumann and Senheisser, and the booth is well treated acoustically for that super dry voiceover sound. It doesn’t do too badly for vocals either. There’s a Skype and phone patch through ProTools into the booth so the artist/actor can be connected to your offices or studios anywhere the world. We have successfully run sessions with dial-in from all over the UK and as far afield as South Africa with great results.

The podcast studio uses broadcast quality equipment to make your podcast stand above the noise of average and poor faulty podcast recordings that are flooding the marketplace. Concentrate on getting your message across and leave the technicalities to us. Competitive rates and discounts for block or regular bookings, get your podcast right first time and get the message across.

The room itself has been carefully designed to offer a comfortable environment for several clients for attended sessions and we have a green room and kitchen area for longer sessions and as much free tea, coffee and cool water as you can drink! There are production offices available for long term hire for bigger projects, and the MainYard Studios community has many complimentary businesses from photographers, filmmakers and fashion to name but a few.

We’re always happy to make new connections, so get in touch and we can enjoy a cup of coffee and chat about your project.
