Wimbledon Sound is an audio post production, recording studio and sound editing facility located in Wimbledon Film and Television Studios. We have a fully air-conditioned studio and vocal room, both with HD video feeds, and offer a wide range of audio services.

main studio

The studio is based around an industry standard ProTools HD Mac computer running the latest ProTools 10 HD software. Conversion is via Lavry Blue AD/DA and monitoring via Klein and Hummel O300Ds, if that means anything to you. If not, don’t worry, it’s all good, and means we can really hear what we’re doing to make the right decision. Both the control room and the vocal booth are synced with a 1080P video feed so you can also record audio for film and TV or any video cues.

Our quiet recording space for voiceover, sync to picture, ADR, and any other recordings requiring that professional, dry vocal sound. The booth has a talkback feed from the control room so it’s easy to direct the talent. The booth also has 8 balanced connections to the main room for connecting up multiple sources/headphone mixes so we can set it up how you like.

Based in the Wimbledon Media Village in Wimbledon Film and TV Studios, we work closely with other creatives and can offer more than just the sound aspect of your project. On-site in Wimbledon there are filmmakers, animators, 3D artists, colour graders, voiceovers, dancers, make-up, costume, sets, sound stages, equipment hire (camera, lighting, grip etc) an infinity curve, green screen as well as an excellent cafe and restaurant. We can be editing your video in one room, recording and editing voiceover in another, whist the kinetic typography is created just across the hall. Between us, we can help deliver all aspects of your production.
